About NLP

What is NLP?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) began its life as the study of excellence and evolved into a field that models excellence of top performers, as well as explaining how different people organise their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results they do or have. When you understand NLP you gain personal freedom. Personal freedom means having the freedom to be able to control your thoughts and manifest the kinds of feelings you want in your life.

Introduction to NLP

NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is the study of excellence, which describes how our thinking produces our behaviour, and allows us to model the excellence and to reproduce that behaviour. It is an extraordinary approach to human communication and with NLP we are not only learning how our mind works- but also how other people’s minds work.

We have ‘behavioural programmes’ for everything that we do. Think about it. As a an example, you most likely repeat the same method for brushing your teeth; turning the tap, using your left/right hand to pick up the brush, placing the toothpaste etc. Now, by understanding this, and how we unconsciously run our behaviours, you can enhance the programs that are working well and change what is not working well. Through NLP we make powerful changes to the problems by changing our emotional states, i.e feeling good.

NLP gives us more control over our mind.
